Membership

One year ago today, Michigan Conservation District Day was established, honoring the important work done by conservation districts throughout the state. In the year that has passed since then, the amazing staff at the Ingham Conservation District and our even more amazing volunteers have been hard at work and accomplished amazing things together!

One of the projects we have been working on over the past year is the development of an official Ingham Conservation District Membership Program, which we are so excited to launch today!

You can now support our work directly through the purchase of a 1-year membership! Annual membership dues will help support the important conservation efforts of the ICD. This is a great option for anyone who supports conservation but may not have the time or ability to participate in more hands-on projects like our regular garlic mustard pulls or bi-annual stream monitoring. Memberships also make excellent gifts for family and friends who are conservation enthusiasts!

We are offering four levels of membership, each with its own benefits, so you can choose the level of support that is right for you! All members, regardless of what level they join at, will receive a thank-you gift of Michigan native wildflower seeds, so they can show off their conservation support!

To celebrate our new Membership Program, we are launching it on July 17th, Michigan Conservation District Day. You can become a member at any time, but we will be running a a special membership drive through July 28 (National Conservation Day). The first 40 people to purchase a membership between July 17 and July 28 will receive an “I support local conservation” bumper sticker as an additional thank you.
