ANNUAL MEETING

Dr. James Averill, Deputy Director of the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Acting State Veterinarian, will be our guest speaker for the evening.  His topic will be Deer and Livestock Health Issues affecting Ingham County.  Enjoy dinner and hear updates on many natural resource conservation efforts in Ingham County.  We will be honoring our volunteers and presenting our Conservationist of the Year award. A silent auction will also be available.  Tickets are $10.00 per person. The ICD is seeking donations of auction items, please contact our office if you are able to donate an item.

DIRECTOR ELECTIONS

A locally elected five member board of directors guides the District’s programs and activities.  Ingham Conservation District boundaries are organized along Ingham County boundaries.  Every legal age resident of Ingham County is entitled to vote for the Directors who will oversee conservation efforts within our county.  Peter Malinski was appointed in 2018 and will be on the ballot for a 4-year term that would begin in January 2019. ID is required to vote.  Absentee ballots are available at the ICD office Mon-Thurs between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm beginning December 3rd.
